Frog Feast collects minimal data to provide leaderboard functionality:

Data Collected:

• User-chosen display name: The name you choose with a unique tag (e.g., "Player#1234")
• High scores: Your best game scores
• Anonymous user ID: A locally generated timestamp-based identifier

Data Stored Locally (On Your Device):

• Game Progress: Your high score, unlocked themes, and unlocked skins
• Game Settings: Sound preferences, language selection
• Coins: In-game currency earned through gameplay
• User Preferences: "Remember my name" checkbox setting

Data We Do NOT Collect:

• ❌ Email addresses
• ❌ Personal information (real name, phone number, address)
• ❌ Location data
• ❌ Device information beyond what's necessary for gameplay

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data to:

• Display your scores on the global leaderboard
• Save your game progress locally
• Provide a personalized gaming experience

Data Storage

• Local Storage: Game data is stored on your device using SharedPreferences
• Cloud Storage: Leaderboard data (username with tag and high score) is stored securely using Supabase
• No Backup: We do not provide cloud backup for your game progress

Frog Feast uses the following third-party services:

Supabase (Database)

• Used for storing leaderboard data

Children's Privacy

Frog Feast is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The only data collected is:

• User-chosen display name (not real name)
• Game scores
• Anonymous user ID

Data Security

We take data security seriously:

• Leaderboard data is stored securely using Supabase with Row Level Security policies
• Local data is stored securely on your device
• We do not store sensitive personal information

Your Rights

You have the following rights:

• Change Your Name: You can change your display name in Settings (tag remains the same)
• Delete Local Data: Uninstall the app to remove all local data
• Delete Leaderboard Data: Contact us to remove your leaderboard entry

Offline Mode

Frog Feast works offline. When offline:

• Your scores are saved locally
• Leaderboard shows cached or seed data
• Scores sync to the cloud when you're back online

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
